“Recipes for Success”
Significant positive changes happen to people’s lives when they commit to eating healthy. Some of the many benefits I’ve seen firsthand have been:
- losing weight and/or finding one’s ideal weight
- ending a serious depression and generally balancing moods
- decreasing high blood pressure and cholesterol in a matter of days
- decreasing and ending headaches and migraines
- improving overall quality of life
- decreasing or getting off of insulin and balancing blood sugar
- increasing levels of energy
- improving skin condition (including decreasing wrinkles and curing acne)
- improving arthritic symptoms (decreasing pain and inflammation)
Making the commitment to moving from the Standard American Diet (SAD) to a macrobiotic diet and lifestyle requires that we make changes, and for some people that can mean big changes. The solution (eating whole foods!!) is truly easier than you might think. Students often comment that the recipes taught in Leslie’s class are very simple to prepare.
In this cooking class, Leslie will teach a gentle approach with encouragement and suggestions on starting and continuing macrobiotics. You taste the food and take home the recipes and handouts for a number of recipes that bring you your greatest health.
