- Have fun
- Learn about possible new cooking techniques
- Learn about new ingredients and/or recipes
- Increase and/or diversify healthful foods in your diet
- Gain information/strategies for implementing new dietary habits
Private cooking lessons are the fastest way to streamline your health and learn new skills and recipes. You’ll receive a more in-depth and customized plan to address your goals, as well as a chance to prepare all the recipes hands-on in the comfort of your kitchen. To do this, we’ll sit down to talk story and decide what you want to accomplish with a cooking class. From this information, Leslie will create a menu. You can do the shopping as a learning experience, or she can do the shopping and bring the foods to your home or hotel room. It usually takes about 3 hours to cover all the recipes, leaving time to discuss any questions you may have. You get the recipes and any other additional handouts and you keep all the food and ingredients. Looking for something fun and nurturing to do for yourself and others? You might like to host your own cooking party with friends or family. Hands-on cooking classes are also great for corporate bonding events.
Public cooking classes are a fun way to get together with the community a couple of times each month and learn about important topics and recipes to support your health. During the class, Leslie will discuss the topic of the class in depth, demonstrate the recipes, discuss where to purchase items, and explain the many healthful benefits of using macrobiotic ingredients. After she demonstrates the recipes, you’ll get to taste the food and take home all the recipes and handouts. This is the more affordable way to learn!
